Offices in centre of Paris and Ljubljana

From 2007 to 2010 ELA had its office in Paris. Lamers started to be involved in the renovation of the Collége Nèerlandais. This modernist monument, designed in 1927 by Dutch architect Willem M. Dudok is located in the Citè Internationale Universitaire de Paris. Familiar with both Dutch and French working cultures, Lamers is the missing link between the French client and the Dutch scientific team of architects (H.J. Henket, F. Asselbergs and G. van Hoogevest). He also worked as an adviser for the Erasmus-Descartes conference in Paris in Nov. 2010 and prepared a visit of the Collége Nèerlandais for speakers and guests of the conference, which was attended by a.o. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer (former Secretary General of Nato) as vice-president of the 'Conseil de Coopèration franco-nèerlandais'.

In Sept. 2010, ELA moved to Ljubljana, Slovenia. From this beautiful city just under the Alps and not far from Hungary, ELA continues to work on his current projects in the Netherlands and as correspondent for A10 magazine. He is preparing an exhibition and conference about Contemporary Architecture in Hungary, together with the Slovenian Chamber of Architects and the Hungarian Embassy. (spring 2012). He is also involved in the organization of an Erasmus exchange program in between the Faculty of Architecture of Ljubljana and the Saxion School of Urban Design of Deventer (NL).
